"I had always had good eyesight until I started wearing reading glasses nine years ago," Jo recalls.
As her eyesight further declined, she found herself gradually needing higher and higher strength of glasses.
She even had a second pair with a higher strength for the late afternoon to cater for her tired eyes after a long day in front of the computer.
